Introducing Gail Pascoe, a writer and Solo Mother by choice to an 8-year-old daughter conceived in Australia via the assistance of an A.C.T clinic via the help of imported American international sperm through the Xytex Sperm Bank. While on the surface this seems all fine. She has discovered her daughter has over 100 siblings, with likely more than 20 in Australia. How can this happen in Australia? Our chat highlights the lack of regulation and loopholes in the current Australian system.
