Episode 71: From Melbourne to Perth to have a Baby

Pia James 33, from the Mornington Peninsula, always had an intention of giving her now teenage son Xavier 13, a sibling but with the timing of life and complications with dating in finding a suitable partner, the years flew by. Now entering high school, she wanted to see if her son was still on board and they went on the journey of finding a donor together, Xavier had things he wanted and essentially ended up picking Adam Hooper as her mother’s donor.

The decision was made to board a plane and head out west to Perth to try for a baby, which resulted in a first-cycle success. With roughly 6 weeks to go before the due date Pia shares of her pregnancy journey that included brutal morning sickness not to mention a gender reveal that went horribly wrong and left her in the hospital for a couple of days.
